President Prabowo Subianto participated in the 2025 Indonesian Science, Technology, and Industry Convention (KSTI) at the Bandung Institute of Technology (ITB). Hosted by the Ministry of Higher Education, Science, and Technology (Kemdiktisaintek) in collaboration with ITB, the event showcased various innovations and research projects.
During the convention, President Prabowo visited exhibition booths, including Padjadjaran University’s “Flagship Research Products” booth displaying technologies like VR Dental Hypnosis and VR for Nurses. Subsequently, he addressed the audience in Sabuga Hall, acknowledging key figures and emphasizing the theme of “Science and Technology for Economic Growth and Equity.”
KSTI 2025 serves as a platform to drive national economic transformation through research, science, and technological innovations, aligning with the government’s vision for Golden Indonesia 2045. The convention highlighted exhibitions from critical sectors such as energy, defense, digitalization, healthcare, food security, maritime affairs, and advanced materials and manufacturing.
The event underscores Indonesia’s commitment to leveraging science and technology for sustainable economic development and societal progress.
