Minister of Youth and Sports Dito Ariotedjo visited SMK Negeri 26 Jakarta in Rawamangun, East Jakarta to observe the Free Health Check in Schools (CKG Sekolah) program, which was part of a nationwide launch held in 12 schools, madrasahs, and pesantrens across Indonesia. President Prabowo Subianto’s care for the health of young Indonesians was emphasized by Minister Dito during the visit. The initiative is aligned with the Ministry of Youth and Sports’ vision to improve the physical fitness of the Indonesian population under the Asta Cita development framework. Data collected from the CKG program will help in developing policies to promote healthy lifestyles among students, aiming for a physically and mentally strong generation. The visit included Secretary General of the Ministry of Health Kunta Wibawa Dasa Nugraha, Senior Expert Staff from the Presidential Communication Office (PCO) Hamdan Hamedan, and notable athletes such as Veddriq Leonardo, Desak Made Rita Kusuma, and Bellaetrix Manuputty. The program at SMKN 26 Jakarta involved health screenings for 131 tenth-grade students, with plans to examine a total of 1,600 students over the next few days. The initiative includes various health measurements and screenings, along with educational sessions on clean living habits for participating students. The nationwide launch included 12 educational institutions across different regions, reflecting President Prabowo’s vision for a reformed healthcare system emphasizing promotive and preventive care. The CKG program targets the entire Indonesian population, particularly focusing on 53.8 million students. Started on February 10, 2025, the program has expanded its reach to benefit more than 16 million people as of August 1, 2025. By ensuring equal access to healthcare services, the government aims to lay a robust foundation for realizing the vision of Golden Indonesia 2045.
