President Prabowo Subianto has set a bold target to expand the Free Nutritious Meal Program (Makan Bergizi Gratis / MBG) to reach 82.9 million children nationwide by the end of 2025. This initiative, deemed a national priority, was emphasized by Prabowo during a recent event at the Jakarta Convention Center. The President shared a poignant experience from his visit to Central Java, where he witnessed the overwhelming demand for the program. Touched by the children’s plea for nutritious meals, Prabowo instructed his team to accelerate the program’s implementation with the goal of reaching 20 million children by mid-August. He expressed determination to continue this effort, aiming to achieve the ambitious target by December 2025.
