President of the Republic of Indonesia, Prabowo Subianto, made an appearance at the 79th Bhayangkara Day commemoration ceremony before embarking on his trip to the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia from Halim Perdanakusuma Air Force Base in Jakarta. Prabowo, dressed in a brown safari suit and black peci, arrived at the airbase around 3:15 PM Western Indonesia Time, where he was given a warm send-off by high-ranking officials assembled for his official state visit. Alongside him were Vice President Gibran Rakabuming Raka, Minister of Defense Sjafrie Sjamsoeddin, State Secretary Prasetyo Hadi, Foreign Minister Sugiono, and other important figures from Indonesia and Saudi Arabia. Before boarding the presidential aircraft at 3:30 PM, President Prabowo observed military cadets practicing a marching band performance at the airbase with Defense Minister Sjafrie. The primary purpose of his visit to Saudi Arabia is to bolster bilateral cooperation between the two nations, particularly in relation to the organization of the Hajj pilgrimage and the exploration of potential strategic partnerships. This visit is intended to further strengthen the ties between Indonesia and Saudi Arabia, encouraging mutual understanding and collaboration for the benefit of both countries.
