Ester Nenggokaka, a resident of Southwest Sumba, East Nusa Tenggara, embodies simplicity in her daily life. Despite facing various challenges, her commitment to providing the best for her two children remains unwavering. By selling vegetables in the morning and taking care of her family, Ester showcases resilience and determination.

One of Ester’s children, Lorensius Aganta, was previously underweight, weighing only 7 kilograms before benefiting from the Free Nutritious Meal (Makan Bergizi Gratis, MBG) program. Ester expressed her appreciation for this initiative, emphasizing the positive impact it had on her son’s health.

Thanks to the regular distribution of MBG meals, Ester observed a noticeable improvement in her son’s weight. She eagerly awaits the next health check-up at the local community clinic to monitor his progress. Each morning, Ester receives a variety of nutritious foods such as eggs, fish, meat, tofu, tempeh, and vegetables for her children, ensuring they maintain a well-balanced diet.

While grateful for the support of the MBG program, Ester remains hopeful for the future. She envisions a better tomorrow and seeks further assistance from President Prabowo to elevate their living standards. Despite living in challenging conditions without access to electricity or land ownership, Ester finds comfort in the nourishing meals that foster optimism for the days ahead.
