Kalimantan — A heartwarming moment occurred when Defense Minister Prabowo Subianto attended the final plenary cabinet meeting at Istana Garuda, Ibu Kota Negara (IKN) Nusantara, East Kalimantan, on Friday, September 13.
A group of mothers surrounded Prabowo, excited to take selfies with him. Among them was Annisa Pohan, wife of Minister of Agrarian Affairs and Spatial Planning/Head of the National Land Agency (ATR/BPN), Agus Harimurti Yudhoyono.
During their photo session, First Lady Iriana Jokowi unexpectedly joined in, wearing a lovely pink outfit. She quickly stood beside Prabowo in front of the group.
Prabowo, in his white outfit and black peci, seemed a bit surprised by the First Lady’s presence and immediately showed his respect by bending down.
“Where is Mr. President Joko Widodo? Mr. President, where is he?” Prabowo inquired, looking around for Jokowi.
During the cabinet meeting, President Jokowi stressed the importance of supporting the upcoming administration’s transition to ensure a smooth and effective government.
“We must all fully support the president-elect’s program and ensure an effective government transition,” stated Jokowi. (RR)
