Jordanian Minister of Defense (Menhan) Prabowo Subianto received a warm welcome from high-ranking Jordanian officials upon his arrival at Queen Alia International Airport in Jordan on Monday (10/6).
Prabowo was greeted with a red carpet and a military honor guard from the Jordanian army as he exited the plane.
He arrived at Queen Alia Airport at 08:35 local time or around 10:00 WIB, dressed in a grey suit and black sunglasses.
The welcoming party included Minister of State for Prime Ministry Affairs Ibrahim Mashhour Al Jazi, Governor of Amman Yasser Al-Adwan, Mayor of Amman Yousef Sawarbeh, and Indonesian Defense Attaché for Egypt in Cairo, Colonel Kav Aria Sanggita Saleh.
Prabowo and the Jordanian officials then proceeded to The Ritz Carlton Hotel in Amman, Jordan.
Prabowo’s visit to Amman is on behalf of Indonesian President Joko Widodo for the high-level conference “Call for Action: Urgent Humanitarian Response for Gaza,” organized by Jordan, Egypt, and the United Nations on June 11, 2024.
