SBY arrived in the afternoon and had a private discussion with Prabowo over lunch and coffee. Prabowo later thanked SBY for the in-depth discussion on his Instagram account, expressing optimism about working together for the welfare of the Indonesian people. After the meeting, Prabowo escorted SBY to his car, where they shook hands. It was mentioned that SBY frequently discusses matters with Prabowo and admires his clear ideals and agenda. The meeting was also attended by Prabowo’s son and the Deputy Chairman of the Gerindra Party.
