Indonesia is set to implement the Free Health Check in Schools (CKG) program nationwide to benefit 53 million students. This initiative, overseen by the Ministry of Religious Affairs, aims to provide free health check-ups to students in public, private, and religious schools across the country. President Prabowo envisions a Golden Generation by 2045 and has introduced various strategic policies to achieve this goal, including the CKG program. The Ministry of Health is commended for its efforts in executing this important initiative.
President Prabowo views every Indonesian child as a national asset, leading to policies such as Free Nutritious Meals, Capacity Expansion of Public Hospitals, and Digital Learning Initiatives. Additionally, special regulations have been introduced to support child protection and provide allowances for medical specialists in remote areas. Minister of Religious Affairs Nasaruddin Umar emphasizes the importance of including religious-based education units in the CKG program to support the Golden Indonesia 2045 vision.
With over 12.5 million students under the Ministry’s supervision eligible for the CKG services, Minister Nasaruddin urges all religious schools to actively participate in the program. Monitoring and cooperation at all levels of the Ministry of Religious Affairs are essential to ensure the successful implementation of the program. Failure to comply with the CKG program will result in special attention from the Ministry.
