In Brunei, Prabowo met with Sultan Haji Hassanal Bolkiah to discuss defense cooperation and education, inviting Bruneian military officers to enroll in master’s programs at the Republic of Indonesia Defence University (RIDU).
He then traveled to Laos to meet with President Thongloun Sisoulith and Prime Minister Sonexay Siphandone to discuss mutual benefits in defense and regional stability within ASEAN.
Next, in Cambodia, Prabowo met with Senate President Hun Sen and Prime Minister Hun Manet to explore new collaboration opportunities in defense partnerships.
