Jakarta – Soldiers from the Special Forces Command (Kopassus) paid tribute to the 15th Kopassus Commander, Prabowo Subianto, by performing the song ‘Ksatria Kusuma Bangsa’. The song was sung live by 11 soldiers during the main ceremony of the 72nd Anniversary of Kopassus at the Kopassus Headquarters Field in Cijantung on Tuesday (30/4).
A video tron was played featuring Prabowo in various activities, starting from his early days as a soldier, his service in different operations as the Kopassus Commander, to his current role as the Minister of Defense of Indonesia.
It was mentioned that the song has been showcased by Kopassus in various competitions and has received numerous awards, including first place in the Persit Central level singing competition in 2018 and first place in the Army Adjutant General’s (Ajenad) singing competition.
“On this special occasion, I also express my admiration and pride for all the veteran elders who have contributed to making Kopassus as strong as it is today,” said General Agus Subiyanto in his speech.
In appreciation of their performance, Prabowo awarded a commemorative pin to the participants. All 11 soldiers who took part in the performance received this pin.
