Prabowo Subianto, who is set to become the President-elect for the 2024-2029 period, expressed his appreciation towards the Executive Board of Nahdlatul Ulama (PBNU) for their support and dedication to the upcoming government.
This statement was made by Prabowo during the PBNU Halal Bihalal 1445 H event at the PBNU Central Building, located on Jl. Kramat Raya No. 164 in Central Jakarta, on Sunday (28/4).
Prabowo acknowledged the challenges that lie ahead for Indonesia, emphasizing the need for commitment and strong collaboration, particularly with PBNU.
He mentioned that the tasks ahead are daunting and require joint effort. Prabowo also highlighted his involvement in discussions and decisions made by President Jokowi, emphasizing the importance of working for the benefit of all Indonesians.
While expressing gratitude for the trust placed in the Prabowo-Gibran team, Prabowo acknowledged that solving the nation’s problems cannot be achieved by just two individuals.
Therefore, he stressed the importance of involving PBNU cadre and other inclusive Islamic organizations to work together towards common goals.
Prabowo believes that a stronger foundation will be established when all segments of society unite to protect Indonesia’s wealth and interests.
He concluded by affirming the commitment to safeguard Indonesia’s resources for the benefit of all citizens, building upon the foundation laid by Jokowi’s strategy.
