Jakarta — Prabowo Subianto, the Chairman of the Gerindra Party and the president-elect for the 2024-2029 period, made an appearance at the 65th birthday celebration of Siti Hediati Hariyadi, also known as Titiek Soeharto. The event was held at her residence on Jl. Teuku Umar, Menteng, Central Jakarta, on Sunday evening (14/4).
Arriving at 8:00 PM WIB, Prabowo was dressed in a long-sleeved batik shirt with brown and black motifs. He was warmly greeted by his only child, Ragowo Hediprasetyo or Didit, and Ahmad Muzani, the General Secretary of the Gerindra Party and Vice Chairman of the MPR RI.
The celebration was simple, highlighted by a tumpeng cutting ceremony. Titiek expressed her gratitude to her family and close friends for attending the event.
During the tumpeng cutting, Titiek initially intended to offer the first slice to Prabowo, but he suggested giving it to her sister, Siti Hardijanti Rukmana or Tutut Soeharto, first. Following this, Titiek gave the second slice to Prabowo as they exchanged handshakes and cheek-kisses.
Prabowo congratulated Titiek on her high voting results in Yogyakarta and thanked everyone present. He also posted about the celebration on his Instagram page @prabowo, wishing Titiek continued blessings and protection from God for her service to the nation and state.
The evening ended with a heartwarming moment as Prabowo posed for a photo with Titiek and Didit. Additionally, Prabowo took the opportunity to interact with various guests, including Sufmi Dasco Ahmad, Deputy General Chairperson of the Gerindra Party, Roesan P Roeslani, Chair of the Prabowo-Gibran National Campaign Team, AM Hendropriyono, former Head of the National Intelligence Agency (BIN), as well as celebrities like Maia Estianty and Deddy Corbuzier.
